Personnel Situation
At year-end 2010 the Telekom Austria Group had 16,501 employees, a decline of 0.4 % or of 72 people compared to the previous year. While the number of employees in Austria had fallen by 382 to 9,717 people as of December 31, 2010, the international subsidiaries reported an increase of 1.8 % to 6,634. At the end of 2010, approximately 57% of the company’s workforce in Austria had civil servant status. Sixty-four percent of Telekom Austria Group employees are represented by independent trade unions and personnel representatives, with whom there is a regular exchange of information.
