Mobile Communications and Health
Suitable infrastructure is essential to ensure permanent, nationwide availability for cell phone users. Base stations and handsets are in periodic contact; both send and receive radio waves. The more people who use mobile communications, the greater the volume of data that is carried over mobile networks, the more mobile communications facilities are required. A project with Austrian Research Centers Seibersdorf (ARCS) should provide in-depth information about median transmitting power during a mobile call based on the distance to the base station.
