Environmental- and Climateprotection Goals 2011
- Expand and further develop innovative, environmentally-friendly information and communications technologies (ICT)
- Embed environmental management structures more deeply into the Telekom Austria Group companies by December 2013
- Continue internal and external information campaigns to strengthen communication of environmental and climate protection goals
- Increase energy efficiency at A1 equipment rooms and data centers by 10% by December 2012
- Increase energy efficiency at A1 base stations by 5 % by December 2012
- Develop at least one “green mobile phone app” at Si.mobil to encourage consumers to use their handsets more energyefficiently
- Share best practices for the use of alternative sources of energy within the Telekom Austria Group by June 2012
- Reduce CO2 emissions generated by business trips, the company’s vehicle fleet and the field service of A1 customer service for a total saving of 3,000 tons by December 2012
