The operating segments of the Telekom Austria Group are composed of fixed net and mobile communications.
The fixed net segment comprises all fixed net activities of the Telekom Austria Group in Austria and of Telekom Austria Czech Republic in the Czech Republic. Its product portfolio covers voice telephony, data and IT solutions, Internet access and media, added-value services and wholesale.
The segment mobile communications bundles the mobile phone activities of the Telekom Austria Group. Besides mobilkom austria in Austria, the mobile communications companies of the Telekom Austria Group are Mobiltel in Bulgaria, Velcom in Belarus, Vipnet in Croatia, Si.mobil in Slovenia, Vip mobile in the Republic of Serbia, vip operator in the Republic of Macedonia and mobilkom liechtenstein in Liechtenstein.
More than 2.4 million fixed line customers and over 15.4 million mobile customers place their trust in products and services provided by the Telekom Austria Group.
The Telekom Austria Group has over 17,600 employees and achieved revenues of EUR 4.9 billion in 2007.
