- Telekom Austria Group’s mobile arm mobilkom austria group was able to increase the number of its customers by 1.1 million in 2009 and reached 18.9 million customers by the end of 2009.<br />
- The group has once again claimed its position as European pioneer for the newest network technologies: HSPA+ has already been rolled out successfully in Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia.<br />
- Mobile broadband is still the greatest growth driver. The combination with landline technologies offers customers maximum bandwidth.<br />
- Data volume in mobilkom austria’s network doubled in one year and the number of 3G subscribers grew by 30 %. More than 4,000 base stations will be connected via fiber technology by 2013.<br />
