The Telekom Austria Group Publishes its Annual Report 2007

The Telekom Austria Group has published its annual report for 2007 and has made it available online at http://ar2007.telekomaustria.com. The motto of the publication covering roughly 150 pages is "Only bad news …. is good news". This provocative statement draws attention to the particularities of the past business year: the investment-related decline in performance is addressed directly and openly, yet it points to good news in this connection for the stakeholders in the future.
Transparency and corporate governance as a leitmotif
The Telekom Austria Group is aware of its obligation to report comprehensively and transparently to the company's shareholders, investors and other interested parties. In terms of consistent corporate governance, the information content of the new annual report goes beyond legal requirements.
The annual financial report 2007 including the individual financial statements of Telekom Austria AG according to the Austrian Commercial Code UGB is available under http://www.telekomaustria.com/ir/downloads-en.php.
The annual report was produced in collaboration with BCA Mensalia (concept and consulting), Büro X Wien (design) and Tex Rubinowitz (illustrations). The in-house project team was comprised of Peter Zydek, Head of Investor Relations, Barbara Plössnig (IR) and Max Rabl (Corporate Communications Group).
