Telekom Austria Group Launches Full Service Packages ‘A1 DSL’ and ‘A1 Internet Services’

Vienna, March 1, 2010: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced that its domestic mobile subsidiary, mobilkom austria, will launch two new full service packages, which round off the company’s comprehensive range of integrated solutions, strengthening its positioning as global telecommunications provider for both residential and business customers. ‘A1 DSL’, which will be available starting from March 15, 2010, provides fixed net high-speed Internet with a fixed IP address, unshared bandwidth and unlimited data volume in two versions for both residential and business customers for a monthly flat rate starting from only EUR 20. In addition to this attractive pricing, installation will be free-of-charge during the initial promotional campaign. ‘A1 Internet Services’, which will be available straight away in four package versions (starter, small, medium and large), offers customers - for the first time in Austria - a personal email and domain address, unlimited emails on the mobile phone and the PC for a fixed monthly rate of EUR 3 up to 17 according to the selected package.

mobilkom austria’s full service package ‘A1 DSL’ is available in two versions: A1 DSL basic and A1 DSL Professional. In the basic version customers are offered a fixed Internet connection with an unshared bandwidth of up to 8 Mbps, a fixed IP address and a free-of-charge modem. Additional features include a speed upgrade to up to 30 Mbps as well as A1 Internet Security. The dedicated DSL connection allows especially business customers to use as many PCs as they wish and enables applications such as server operation and remote access. Minimum service contract duration amounts to 24 months.
‘A1 Internet Services’ is available in 4 package versions – starter, small, medium and large – and provides a personal domain with up to 10 GB of web space and over 1,000 email addresses. Thanks to an e-mail transfer service, emails from different accounts can be migrated to and retrieved from one single account. For a new web presence, customer can choose among 65 different top-level domains from 50 different countries. Moreover, this full service package offers the possibility to retrieve emails on the mobile phone or the PC via a mail client or via web mail at a fixed price, which allows for cost control. With the additional feature “mobile mail flat” customers can send and receive an unlimited number of emails Austria-wide. The automatic mobile phone and PC installation software enables a seamless and easy start. Administration is guaranteed by a central web interface, the A1 Internet Service Manger.
