Announcement According to § 93 of the Austrian Stock Exchange Act
Vienna, July 22, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) has been informed that the shareholding of Capital Research and Management Company as of July 17, 2008 was 22,716,784 shares or 4.94% of the outstanding shares.
At the last disclosure as of December 13, 2007 the stake of Capital Research and Management Company was 5.02% of the outstanding shares.
Under Austrian law a company needs to announce if the stake of a shareholder exceeds or falls below a specific level (e.g. 5%).
