Telekom Austria Group Launched a Speed Upgrade Option for Internet Customers and Introduced a Double Play Bundle
Vienna, May 5, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) announced that its Fixed Net subsidiary has launched upgrade options for its recently started triple play and quadruple play bundles aonKombi as well as aonSuperKombi and also introduced a double play bundle under the name of aonSprachKombi.
The triple play and quadruple play bundles including fixed net- and mobile telephony, internet access and TV respectively, can now be upgraded with an option for EUR 9.90 per month to deliver internet download speeds of up to 16 Mbit/s instead of up to 8 Mbit/s already included.
Hannes Ametsreiter, Chief Marketing Officer of Telekom Austria Fixed Net and mobilkom austria said: “The new packages extend our product portfolio and strengthen the attractiveness of our fixed net communication services. With the introduction of these additional features we have concluded the reshaping of our fixed net product portfolio with the aim to provide a unique positioning of our fixed net services.”
The new double play bundle aonSprachKombi combines fixed net and mobile telephony. Customers can make fixed net voice calls based on the tried and tested TikTak Privat tariff and make mobile voice calls for 5 cents per minute to all Austrian networks. aonSprachKombi is available to customers that subscribe until July 11, 2008 for just
EUR 15.98 per month.
