Telekom Austria Group Launches Mobile Broadband Enhancement for Fixed Net Broadband Customers
Vienna, April 17, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced that its Fixed Net subsidiary has launched aonFlex, a mobile broadband enhancement for its fixed net broadband customers.
With aonFlex customers can combine their existing fixed net broadband subscription from Telekom Austria with mobile broadband via a laptop data card for an additional monthly flat rate of EUR 14.90.At home customers surf the Internet via a WLAN connection using the reliable bandwidth of their fixed net broadband line. Outside of the WLAN coverage, aonFlex automatically and seamlessly switches to UMTS and HSDPA providing unlimited mobile broadband with up to 7.2 Mbit/s download and up to 1.4 Mbit/s upload speeds.

aonFlex includes a WLAN/UMTS/HSDPA laptop card and a monthly download volume on mobile broadband of 500 MB. If the download volume on mobile broadband exceeds 500 MB, the download speed is automatically limited to 192kbit/s downstream and 64kbit/s upstream. For customers subscribing to aonFlex by July 17, 2008 the activation fee of EUR 98 is waived.
