Telekom Austria Group Launches Triple Play and Quadruple Play Bundles with Speeds of up to 8 Mbit/s
Vienna, April 11, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced that its Fixed Net subsidiary has launched two new service bundles with substantially higher broadband speeds. The triple play product “aonKombi”, features fixed line and unlimited broadband Internet access with a speed of up to 8 Mbit/s as well as mobile telephony for one monthly fee of EUR 29.90. The product “aonSuperKombi”, the new quadruple play bundle, comprises all of these features and additionally includes cable TV for a monthly rental of EUR 34.90.
Hannes Ametsreiter, Chief Marketing Officer of Telekom Austria Fixed Net and mobilkom austria said: “With the introduction of these new product bundles we want to build on the success of our first product bundle and provide our customers with unlimited high-speed Internet, TV and both fixed and mobile voice telephony - all from a single source.”
Fixed net voice call charges are based on the tried and tested TikTak Privat tariff. Customers can get up to 3 SIM cards and make voice calls for 5 cents per minute for calls to the Austrian fixed net and all Austrian mobile networks. SMS messages are charged at 15 cents. The TV package offers up to 86 channels and video-on-demand with approximately 300 movies.
Both product bundles will be available on a promotional basis until July 11, 2008. After the expiry of the promotion the triple play bundle will be offered at EUR 34.90 and the quadruple play product will cost EUR 39.90 per month.
