Telekom Austria Group: Results of the 1st Quarter 2001 (Ad-hoc Release)
(Vienna, 30.05.2001) - Telekom Austria AG (VSE:TKA;
NYSE:TKA) announced today its operating results for the 1st quarter 2001. Revenues of the Telekom Austria Group (including MobilkomAustria) grew by 2.3% to EUR 967.4 million, compared to the 1st quarter 2000. The positive development in the mobile communications, data communications and Internet business segments more than offset the market-related decline in the fixed line business.
