Telekom Austria Group: Salary Increase of 3.16% and Continuation of the Employee Participation Program1
Vienna, December 16, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced the conclusion of the collective bargaining agreement for the year 2009. The salaries of all employees of the Telekom Austria Group in Austria will be increased by 3.6% as of January 1, 2009, but EUR 140 per month at the most.
Vienna, December 16, 2008: The Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) today announced the conclusion of the collective bargaining agreement for the year 2009. The salaries of all employees of the Telekom Austria Group in Austria will be increased by 3.6% as of January 1, 2009, but EUR 140 per month at the most.
Furthermore the Telekom Austria Group today announced that within the scope of the Employee Participation Program, introduced in 2006, employees in Austria will receive shares from EUR 150 to EUR 300. The Employee Participation Program is based on the authorization of the annual general meeting held on May 20, 2008 and will only be offered to active employees who do not receive stock options. The shares will be allocated in December 2008.
