In New York Telekom Austria was listed in the form of American Depositary Receipts(ADRs).Effective May 17, 2007 Telekom Austria withdrew it's listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Its American Depository Reiceipts (ADR) will continue to trade over-the-counter under a level I ADR Programm starting May 17, 2007.
An ADR is a certificate evidencing a specific number of American Depositary Shares (ADS), whose value depends on the foreign originals of the shares. In the case of Telekom Austria, each ADS represents the right to receive two ordinary shares.
